Russia’s National Day celebrated in Ho Chi Minh City

A ceremony to mark the 18th National Day and the National Sovereignty Declaration Day of Russia (June 12) was held in Ho chi minh city on June 11.
Addressing the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association Hoang Huu Nghia said he hopes Russia will maintain its position in the world arena as a great powerful country and hold its sovereignty to ensure a better life for its people.

He said bilateral co-operation in the economic-commercial and scientific-technical areas will help bring more practical benefits to their countries and people.

The Russian ambassador to Vietnam Nikolai Dmitrievic Ubushiev also said the Vietnam-Russian friendship and cooperation will be further improved and developed in the future.
