July 15: Over 40,000 cheap train tickets available - Saigon Railway

The Saigon Railway Transportation Company has announced it will sell over 40,000 cheap tickets for the HCM City-Hue route and vice versa as of July 15.


 

If passengers buy train tickets 90 days before their trip, they will have to pay 50% of the normal fare; 40% for 60 days, 30% for 30 days ahead. On each train there will be 40-45% seats with cheap tickets.

 

Cheap tickets are for Trains from September 15 to December 15, 2008. Cheap tickets can’t be returned or re-sold.

 

To buy this kind of ticket, passengers must show their ID cards, passports, driving licences, or some other kinds of card (press card, Party member card, trade union member card, etc.).
